I used to watch “Welcome Back Kotter” back in the 70′s. Loved the character Ron Palillo created for Arnold Horshack. He was one-of-a-kind and made a great contribution for a super ensemble “sweathog” cast who played against the authority figures. His characterization of an eager, yet dim witted teenager was spot on. Of course young Bobby Hegyes and John Travolta really shined in this series too. Ron will be missed.
